Requirements:
  • 3+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on user onboarding, activation, or conversion funnels, ideally within a fintech, crypto, or other high-growth tech environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Define, prioritize, and execute the end-to-end product roadmap for the retail user onboarding journey across Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. This includes account creation, initial funding, and first transaction flows.
  • Analyze user behavior data, identify friction points in the onboarding funnel, and implement solutions to increase conversion rates from sign-up to activated user (e.g., first deposit, first trade).
  • Champion a consistently delightful and frictionless onboarding experience for our diverse user base, making it simple, intuitive, and secure for newcomers to access Bitso's offerings.
  • Discover and test new solutions and technologies to streamline user identification and reduce barriers to entry, balancing user experience with necessary controls.
  • Work closely with specialized internal teams (e.g. fraud prevention, compliance and KYC operations) to integrate essential security measures and controls into the onboarding flow, ensuring a secure and compliant journey while minimizing impact on user friction.
  • Utilize deep data analysis to identify trends, measure the impact of product changes, and uncover opportunities for optimization within the onboarding funnel. This is a data-heavy role where insights drive decisions.
  • Partner seamlessly with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations (KYC Ops, Payments Ops, Customer Support), and Compliance stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective onboarding strategy.
  • Embrace a fast-paced environment, making informed decisions with incomplete information and prioritizing shipping small, impactful changes quickly to test in the market and iterate.
