- 5+ years of experience in sales & underwriting, or placing commercial cyber insurance and/or technology or cybersecurity.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong presentation skills and the aptitude to learn technical concepts and terms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- The Business Development Manager will work with the Head of Distribution and Underwriting team to develop regional business plans that drive growth and optimize products.
- Conduct planned brokerage visits to develop new accounts, service existing accounts, and improve broker relationships.
- Support broker satisfaction by connecting them with appropriate Converge resources including underwriting and security services.
- Monitor broker performance and identify trends, providing guidance during periodic reviews.
- Support partnered insurance program initiatives from lead generation to Go-to-Market strategy.
