Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or relevant field.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience translating complex scientific information into plain language.
- Experience with health communications strategy, campaign planning, and message development.
- Experience leading projects and teams with a focus on quality review processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- Previous experience supporting federal government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee communications and engagement strategies to support client objectives.
- Lead integrated communications campaigns including message development, change management, and omnichannel approaches.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients and teams on communications best practices.
- Direct media relations and external outreach activities.
- Direct the development and quality review of various communications products such as newsletters, social media content, and technical reports.
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Develop and manage project timelines and resource coordination.
- Supervise team members, handle assignments, performance management, and training.
