Bachelor's Degree
6 years of relevant, professional experience in Section 508 formatting, testing, and remediation, including:
At least 3 years of experience with government consulting
Experience using accessibility checking tools, such as PAC 2024 PDF checker, JAWS, etc.
Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with 508 checklists
Possess skills to identify errors in document structure, headings, reading order, images, charts and tables, and any other document accessibility issues
Keep current with all relevant policies and requirements for accessibility as related to documents, audio, and video files
Design and develop document and file templates that adhere to accessibility guidelines
Track and log document and template changes and provide reports as requested
Advise staff on policy and best practices for creating accessible materials and provide end-user and group training for document accessibility
