Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in executive communications, public relations, content/brand storytelling, journalism, or a related writing-intensive role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage content across multiple executives, channels, and deadlines.
- Strong storyteller's instinct with the ability to turn news or ideas into resonant content.
- Excellent writing and messaging skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Comfort operating with confidence around senior executives, including knowing when to provide professional pushback.
- Proven success in cross-functional, highly collaborative roles.
- Bonus: Experience working in highly technical or developer-facing organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write blog posts, bylines, video, and long-form pieces that build executives' reputations.
- Work with customers to develop content showcasing their industry leadership and use of Chainguard.
- Manage and write social content for the executive team.
- Shape narratives, talking points, and prep materials for external engagements such as podcasts, events, and webinars.
- Translate technical and strategic topics into stories for developer, security, and business audiences.
- Work with Marketing, PR, and Events to ensure storytelling reinforces company narratives and campaigns.
- Own the external content calendar for supported executives and manage the process end-to-end.
