Software Engineer, Sustaining Automation

Design and implement systems that orchestrate package creation, test generation, and image building.
Develop LLM-integrated, agentic pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation.

Engineering at Chainguard

You will tackle securing the open source ecosystem, building hardened container images and malware-resistant libraries. Engineers solve complex problems in dependency management, build automation, and provenance. You will work with cloud-native environments, CI/CD systems, and supply chain security frameworks like SLSA. This team focuses on creating secure, reproducible build pipelines for critical software components, including the .NET ecosystem.
