Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in account management or client-facing roles within a data, SaaS, or research company.
  • Demonstrated experience working with CPG, Grocery, Retail, or Restaurant clients.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
  • Experience managing expansion quotas or upsell targets.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to interpret category or share data to identify pitches and client stories.
  • Comfort negotiating with and selling to VP-level stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Bonus: Experience in Commerce Media.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of CPG, grocery, retail, and restaurant accounts with accountability for net revenue retention.
  • Build and execute expansion plans by identifying new buyers and underused product lines.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact, building relationships with stakeholders beyond the original buyer.
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions with a focus on expanding scope.
  • Translate product roadmap and capabilities into client-specific pitches.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce to ensure reliable pipeline forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Ops, and Customer Success to resolve client issues and leverage wins for expansion.
  • Provide market and client intelligence to internal leadership to guide future product development.
