- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding bookings targets in competitive enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to personally engage in and close complex, high-value enterprise deals.
- Experience building and leading sales teams focused on pipeline creation and new account acquisition.
- Experience owning retention outcomes for high-value enterprise accounts.
- Strong background in multi-product sales motions.
- Disciplined operating practices regarding pipeline generation, forecasting, and data-driven performance management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the strategic segment’s annual bookings plan, emphasizing new logo acquisition and multi-product expansion.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives.
- Drive pipeline generation, account-based engagement, and executive relationship development across the team.
- Engage as an executive sponsor on complex, high-value transactions involving C-level prospecting and negotiation.
- Execute account-level strategic plans to identify whitespace and position Gainsight against competitors.
- Orchestrate multi-product selling across the portfolio including customer success, community, and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Customer Success, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure seamless deal cycles and customer outcomes.
- Deliver accurate forecasts and provide clear visibility to senior leadership on performance and risk.
