Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in billing operations or finance operations, preferably in SaaS or technology.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Strong Order to Cash experience.
- Strong experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Deep understanding of billing processes, invoicing structures, and collections workflows.
- Experience operating in a high-growth, complex deal environment.
- Experience with automation, AI, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and revenue recognition considerations (preferred).
- Experience with marketplace billing (AWS, Azure) and third-party invoicing tools like Coupa or Ariba (preferred).
- Exposure to Government portal WAAF, including tax and multi-entity environments (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own global billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation aligned with contract terms, pricing structures, and booking policies.
- Manage the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle post-Closed Won, including billing setup, validation, and delivery.
- Ensure alignment across Salesforce, contract terms, and NetSuite to minimize downstream errors and revenue impact.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues, disputes, and exceptions.
- Lead collections processes, including AR aging, follow-ups, and dispute resolution.
- Own and continuously improve billing and AR processes to drive scalability and efficiency.
- Partner with Deal Desk and RevOps to ensure a seamless transition from deal structure to billing execution.
- Ensure billing and AR processes are SOX-compliant and audit-ready.
