Requirements
- 7+ years of in-depth payroll experience in a multi-state, multi-location environment
- 3+ years in a Manager role
- Subject matter expertise in UKG Payroll and Workforce Management
- Significant knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax considerations
- Experience with Wage & Hour considerations
- Hands-on experience with time and attendance, payroll processing, year-end closing, audit, and benefits administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Oversee biweekly and bimonthly payroll and off-cycle payment processes for all employees and independent contractors
- Develop and maintain UKG Pro HRIS and Payroll system
- Ensure all internal payroll procedures are compliant, accurate, and documented
- Oversee auditing and reconciliation of payroll data
- Partner with Finance, IT, and People Ops for reporting
- Modify timekeeping system to support state/local requirements
- Manage pay-related SOPs and end-user training
- Support audits of payroll controls and processes
- Manage and develop a Payroll Specialist
