Requirements:
Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running. Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment. Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline. Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally. Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships.
Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote financial services. Provide high service levels and use sales techniques to drive awareness of Lightspeed Capital. Build trusted advisor relationships and identify financial service opportunities. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow the book of business. Achieve sales targets by providing advice and coordinating with regional leaders. Employ business development and relationship management techniques. Provide feedback and act as the voice of the merchant to business leaders. Understand and communicate the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances.
