Data and Model Governance Lead

5+ Years of experience in payments, financial services and/or Fintech Advanced SQL skills, including 8+ years experience working with large data sets Intermediate to advanced technical skills (e.g. Python, R, or other automation-focused languages) Proficiency with dashboard and/or business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.) Experience with Git, Snowflake, Airflow, and Salesforce is a plus Foundation of integrity and strong character Self-starter and team player Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects in an agile environment

Build and maintain data pipelines for third-party program data intake, structuring, and quality control. Build and maintain a Model Risk Management program, including policy development and operationalizing processes. Design dashboards and analytics to identify and surface risks across regulatory areas. Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting assets for LRC metrics. Assist with the development of Enterprise Risk Appetite and Key Risk Indicator metrics and their automation. Build automation using Python or similar languages to eliminate repetitive manual processes. Identify data gaps and develop interim solutions. Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate compliance data needs into Marqeta's platform. Serve as a strategic analytics partner to the Compliance leadership team.
