Behavioral Health Care Manager

Master's Degree Required in psychology, social work, or another behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university. Proficient in technology to successfully work remotely, specifically the Google Suite (calendar, docs, sheets, slides, etc.). Strong documentation and data entry experience or abilities. Work experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Accept patient handoffs and continue care. Develop rapport with patients and create a safe therapeutic environment. Guide patients in developing skills for problem management and relapse prevention. Educate patients on medication and monitor adherence. Communicate treatment recommendations and updates to psychiatrists. Match daily calendar to documentation in the electronic medical record. Reflect all billable activity in case notes within 24 hours. Present follow-ups to the psychiatrist with necessary information. Counsel patients about their mental or physical illness, abuse, medication, and resources. Assess patients for risk, develop safety plans, and perform crisis interventions. Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress using validated assessments. Prepare and maintain required records and diagnostic records. Use clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills. Produce high-quality documentation. Relate to patients, families, and agencies through interpersonal skills.
