Requirements:
10+ years of experience in business development roles, preferably in biopharma, genetics, or data/analytics. Strong executive presence and customer-focused orientation. Diverse experience in all aspects of business development/sales. Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets. Highly proactive hunter approach and mentality. Collaborative team member. Demonstrated track record of building and managing relationships with senior executives. Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting. Eagerness to explore scientific, medical, and commercial applications of genetic and clinical data. Genetics/genomics background strongly preferred (e.g., Master’s degree or higher in genetics). Network of contacts in the pharma/biotech industry. Experience selling to and familiarity with biopharma companies is a major asset. Understanding of how real-world data can be utilized in drug development.
Responsibilities:
Prospect for new business opportunities and initiate action plans. Build client relationships with senior executives at pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on market intelligence. Deliver product demos and value propositions. Identify and coordinate internal resources for discussions. Structure and negotiate partnership agreements. Provide guidance on the strategic roadmap for the commercial partnerships team. Translate client needs into product development priorities. Coordinate with the implementation team on project execution. Travel occasionally to meet clients and attend conferences.
