  • Regular communication with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
  • Developing, managing, and testing back-up, recovery, and high availability plans (mirroring)
  • Controlling access permissions and privileges
  • Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
  • Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
  • Capacity planning
  • Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.
  • Compliance with data governance requirements such as data classification, data masking, SOX, PCI requirements
