Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in clinical operations, clinical trial feasibility, vendor management, or study start-up.
- Strong understanding of clinical protocols, research processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study activation.
- Proven experience working with sponsors, CROs, site networks, and clinical research partners.
- Expertise in feasibility assessments, vendor sourcing, contracting workflows, and operational planning.
- Experience managing and developing teams with strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data, KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with feasibility platforms, CTMS systems, clinical portals, and project tracking tools.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to feasibility and vendor management teams.
- Develop and execute strategic feasibility approaches by analyzing study protocols, operational requirements, and site capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments to identify appropriate sites, vendors, and resources.
- Manage key vendor relationships, including performance tracking, governance, and issue resolution.
- Partner with Business Development, Finance, Operations, and Legal stakeholders to align strategies.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks impacting study timelines and performance.
- Improve departmental processes, databases, and standard operating procedures for increased scalability.
