Requirements
- 3+ years of core payments experience (adjacent experience is a plus, not a substitute).
- Experience in B2C subscription businesses (mobile/web).
- Experience working with Tier-1 PSPs: Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, Checkout.com.
- Expertise in multi-PSP orchestration, routing, and cascading.
- Experience operating in US and European markets.
- Relevant experience at a scale of 3-5M+ transactions per month.
- Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency.
- Management experience is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review current payment setup and Acceptance Rate performance to identify key issues and quick wins.
- Build and scale multi-PSP infrastructure including routing, orchestration, cascading, and provider onboarding.
- Own payment strategy metrics such as success, renewal, and recovery rates, as well as billing logic for retries, dunning, and renewals.
- Manage processing costs and negotiate with payment service providers to optimize payment margins.
- Monitor risk metrics, including chargeback rates and fraud, while scaling transaction volume.
- Lead and grow the payments team.
