Requirements
- Australian bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of BAS, GST, STP, Payroll, and Superannuation
- Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
- Experience with Employment Hero or KeyPay
- Experience with Karbon, Xero Practice Manager (XPM), or FYI Docs
- Reliable internet connection with backup option
- Quiet and professional work-from-home setup
- Ability to work full-time on a PH dayshift schedule
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank, credit card, and GL reconciliations
- Process payroll, STP, and superannuation
- Prepare BAS, IAS, GST, and PAYG reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and month-end close
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Liaise with clients and external accountants
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements
