Requirements

  • Australian bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online
  • Knowledge of BAS, GST, STP, Payroll, and Superannuation
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
  • Experience with Employment Hero or KeyPay
  • Experience with Karbon, Xero Practice Manager (XPM), or FYI Docs
  • Reliable internet connection with backup option
  • Quiet and professional work-from-home setup
  • Ability to work full-time on a PH dayshift schedule

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Perform bank, credit card, and GL reconciliations
  • Process payroll, STP, and superannuation
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, GST, and PAYG reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and month-end close
  • Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Liaise with clients and external accountants
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements
