Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HR business partner, or similar role.
  • Broad exposure across employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting leaders and employees in a dynamic, multi-site, or field-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law fundamentals, and compliance considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when managing confidential information and sensitive situations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple locations and competing needs independently.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary People Operations partner for assigned ambulatory surgery centers, building trusted relationships with center leaders and team members.
  • Partner with leadership teams to support team member engagement, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Support employees and managers through organizational change, helping create a positive and consistent experience during periods of growth and transition.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen manager capability through coaching, feedback, and practical tools that enable effective people leadership.
  • Provide guidance related to compensation practices, benefits, HR policies, and employee programs while ensuring consistent application of Compass standards.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, confidentiality, and compliance standards when handling sensitive employee matters.
