Requirements
- Valid teaching certification for Colorado or North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information properly.
- Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
- Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas and grade levels.
- Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference based on student need.
- Complete course set up for each course within the Learning Management System.
- Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide daily feedback and grading.
- Track and maintain contact with each student to support academic and social-emotional growth.
- Review student level data frequently to inform instructional program adjustments.
- Collaborate with Principals to create and deliver student progress reports.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of in-person student events and state testing.
