Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Active state teaching license in Ohio in Global Languages: French grades 6-12.
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
- Comfort and confidence providing live, on-camera instruction for 5+ consecutive hours daily.
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools.
- Proficiency with standard productivity software.
- Ability to analyze student performance data to adjust instructional approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-directed with effective time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining certification and staying current on K-12 curriculum and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day, every instructional day.
- Personalize instruction using student performance data to address learning gaps.
- Provide meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
- Build relationships with students and families through proactive, professional communication.
- Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure high-quality support.
