Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Active state teaching license in Minnesota and/or Nevada in Global Languages: Spanish grades 6-12
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
- Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom
- Confident and engaging on camera
- Ability to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools
- Proficiency with standard productivity software
- Data-informed with ability to adjust instruction based on performance data
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and self-directed
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day
- Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work
- Maintain accurate records
- Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional communication
- Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues
