Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Active state teaching license in Washington, Oregon, and/or Colorado in Social Studies/Social Science grades 6-12.
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
- Comfortable with live online classroom demands.
- Confident and engaging on camera.
- Ability to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day.
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools.
- Proficiency with standard productivity software.
- Ability to analyze student performance data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day.
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt approach.
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work.
- Maintain accurate records to keep students and families informed.
- Build professional relationships with students and families.
- Collaborate with school partners and colleagues.
