Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and Pivot Tables).
- Expertise in accrual accounting methods.
- Ability to perform accounting procedures, maintain records, and compile financial reports.
- Ability to complete and review financial flux analysis.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Adaptable with the ability to view challenges as an opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) function, including invoice processing, vendor payment runs, and month-end accruals.
- Oversee and develop the AP team through goal-setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and enforce AP internal controls, including fraud prevention and audit support.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and modernize AP workflows through automation and AI-powered tools.
- Oversee P-Card and T&E programs, including policy compliance and vendor coordination.
- Support vendor management, including new setups, payment term optimization, and dispute resolution.
