Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong background in bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger management, and external audits.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts, projects, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 365, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a remote team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other client-specific reports.
- Support clients with budgeting processes, expense tracking, and monthly contribution management.
- Partner with internal accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate reconciliations and financial data integrity.
- Manage year-end vendor reporting processes, including preparation and coordination of required documentation.
- Maintain client-specific accounting documentation and establish standardized bookkeeping processes for new client onboarding.
- Track and complete customized accounting projects while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients through meetings and written updates, providing guidance during audits and financial reviews.
- Participate in internal team initiatives, process improvements, and knowledge-sharing activities.
