Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
- Active CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Big Four or large public accounting audit experience.
- In-house accounting experience as a lead/owner at a growth-stage company.
- Proven track record of owning balance-sheet accounting independently.
- Experience writing technical accounting memos for ASC 606, leases, and equity.
- Advanced Excel skills (SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH).
- Fluent in Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Execute core components of the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including intercompany and consolidations.
- Support audit requirements by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Review and process vendor invoices and ensure adoption of procurement policies.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and reconcile bank accounts.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes and controls.
