Requirements

  • Experience selling enterprise software or SaaS to the Australian Federal Government.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex stakeholder environments and long, regulated procurement cycles.
  • Strong account planning skills with experience executing multi-year plans across a defined territory.
  • Consultative sales approach with ability to connect mission outcomes to software development lifecycle capabilities.
  • Understanding of CI/CD automation, secure software delivery, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Confidence engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, from practitioners to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to drive end-to-end sales execution, including pipeline generation, forecasting, and negotiation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams like solutions architects and customer success.
  • Experience partnering with system integrators, resellers, and other channel partners.
  • Comfort working autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment with strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic, multi-year partnership and account plans for Australian Federal Government accounts.
  • Manage strategic partnerships end-to-end, from discovery and solution design to implementation and ongoing value creation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, including CIOs and technical leaders.
  • Navigate complex public sector procurement and contracting processes.
  • Collaborate with solutions architects, pre-sales, and post-sales partners to design solutions and support evaluations.
  • Partner with system integrators, resellers, and channel partners to generate and grow qualified opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal resources across sales, marketing, and product teams to drive account momentum.
