Requirements
- 5+ years of global supply chain management or complex manufacturing experience (Consumer Electronics, Medical Device, Aerospace, Automotive, or Pharma preferred).
- Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional matrixed teams and external partners.
- Advanced problem-solving skills to manage both operational issues and macro strategies.
- Deep comprehension of manufacturing cost structures, automation equipment, and DFMAC metrics.
- High proficiency with enterprise software, ERP, and supply chain management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for commercial negotiations and executive reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Open to 5-10% global travel.
- Ability to travel to manufacturing site in Cookeville, TN as needed.
Responsibilities
- Optimize product supply chains to meet time-to-market and demand goals.
- Manage total product supply chain costs to ensure alignment with profitability margins.
- Partner with finance and engineering to build should-cost strategies and capital expenditure forecasts.
- Negotiate pricing, tooling budgets, and business terms with key suppliers.
- Evaluate production constraints and manage global manufacturing capacity for scalability.
- Establish metric scorecards and Clear to Build tracking for supplier risk management.
- Act as primary operational liaison across engineering, quality, product, and finance teams.
