Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% within a defined geographic region.
  • Proven track record of converting prospects and achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience in qualifying opportunities, account development, and time management.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize a consultative sales approach for problem-solving.
  • Energetic, persuasive, and goal-oriented professional.
  • Experience in education, ed tech, or SaaS is preferred.
  • Contacts and relationships with local ISDs are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Research potential sales opportunities within assigned region to target key contacts.
  • Source new sales opportunities through cold calling and multi-channel outreach.
  • Prospect and build a sales pipeline via email, phone, trade shows, and inbound leads.
  • Perform webinar presentations and on-site sales demos to educate faculty on product capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity documentation, including notes, follow-ups, and call logs.
  • Work with Technical Account Managers to provide support and ensure year-over-year retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to document market insights and product feedback.
