Requirements
- Minimum of five years of outside sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 70% within a defined geographic region.
- Proven track record of converting prospects and achieving sales quotas.
- Experience in qualifying opportunities, account development, and time management.
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to utilize a consultative sales approach for problem-solving.
- Energetic, persuasive, and goal-oriented professional.
- Experience in education, ed tech, or SaaS is preferred.
- Contacts and relationships with local ISDs are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research potential sales opportunities within assigned region to target key contacts.
- Source new sales opportunities through cold calling and multi-channel outreach.
- Prospect and build a sales pipeline via email, phone, trade shows, and inbound leads.
- Perform webinar presentations and on-site sales demos to educate faculty on product capabilities.
- Maintain accurate sales activity documentation, including notes, follow-ups, and call logs.
- Work with Technical Account Managers to provide support and ensure year-over-year retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to document market insights and product feedback.
