Requirements

  • 3-5 years of major account sales management experience.
  • Direct experience with Home Depot, Lowes, Dick’s Sporting Goods and/or major retailer experience required.
  • Experience working with multiple distribution partners, including negotiating contracts and managing retailer accounts.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with an ability to drive revenue.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Established relationships with retailers and knowledge of their internal systems.
  • Experience leveraging retail analytic applications, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency with syndicated data tools such as Circana, 3PL data systems, and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the development and retention of all new key strategic accounts into major retail channels.
  • Manages third-party distribution partners, including oversight of total retail programs for logistical support.
  • Oversees complete management of new major retail channels, including buyer relationships, onboarding, negotiations, and performance scorecards.
  • Manages the major retail P&L, including pricing, discounts, and marketing expenses to meet profitability targets.
  • Leverages internal resources across finance, marketing, technology, and operations to maximize opportunities.
  • Ensures accurate demand planning forecasts and purchase orders while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Evaluates business development opportunities and facilitates expansion.
  • Manages multiple cross-functional projects, developing and monitoring schedules to meet milestones.
