Requirements
- 7+ years in a hybrid Account Management, CSM, or Strategic Sales role.
- Experience specifically in cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, or adjacent technical infrastructure segments.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar accounts with measurable NRR and expansion results.
- Deep technical fluency in infrastructure, including object storage, block and file storage architectures, and S3-compatible APIs.
- Understanding of egress cost modeling, data pipeline design, and multi-cloud/hybrid cloud environments.
- Ability to understand how AI/ML training workloads, media pipelines, and developer platforms consume storage.
- Comfortable whiteboarding cloud workflows and integration architectures at a conceptual level.
- Proven ability to carry quota at a senior level with clear ramp milestones.
- Strong CRM discipline for pipeline and account management.
- Experience building working relationships with technical buyers such as VPs of Infrastructure and DevOps leads.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational health across a portfolio of strategic accounts with multi-million dollar ARR.
- Own the commercial relationship between executive touchpoints and serve as the account's day-to-day voice of Backblaze.
- Drive expansion pipeline through deep relationship building and identifying new workloads and infrastructure challenges.
- Negotiate renewal terms and expansion pricing in partnership with internal executives.
- Coordinate across Support, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve issues and ensure commitments are met.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Infrastructure, DevOps, Storage Engineering, FinOps, and Procurement.
- Partner with Solutions Engineers on technical discovery, architecture reviews, and POC engagements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, account health, and forecast data in CRM.
