Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and persuasively.
  • Highly organized with experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and social media.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, or LinkedIn Ads is a plus.
  • Experience in recruitment, volunteer coordination, community outreach, or marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research and post volunteer opportunities on listservs, professional networking groups, and community boards.
  • Support the volunteer champions program by interviewing and coordinating advocates.
  • Assist with LinkedIn Ads setup and campaign management during recruitment windows.
  • Manage logistics for volunteer info sessions, including scheduling, facilitation, and attendee follow-up.
  • Conduct personalized outreach via email, text, and phone to move prospective volunteers through the application pipeline.
  • Draft and tailor recruitment communications, including outreach templates, decks, and flyers.
