Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in accounting or accounting + FP&A.
- Direct exposure to inventory, AP, or cost accounting.
- Strong preference for background in apparel, CPG, or DTC e-commerce.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and building models from scratch.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem is a plus.
- Understanding of unit economics, including contribution margin and landed costs.
- Ability to perform 3-way matching and manage vendor discrepancies.
- Self-directed work style with a focus on ownership and execution.
- CPA or equivalent certification is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Process, code, and schedule vendor invoices across the full supplier base.
- Execute 3-way matching on every inbound shipment.
- Perform daily reconciliation of invoiced quantities versus received goods.
- Maintain weighted average cost accuracy across approximately 1,300 SKUs.
- Reconcile landed costs into true unit economics.
- Analyze margins, SKU contribution, velocity, and markdown exposure.
- Evaluate vendor efficiency and performance regarding cost and reliability.
