Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A.
- Experience in recurring revenue environments such as membership models, subscriptions, or SaaS.
- Advanced Excel proficiency including financial modeling and multi-tab reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Jonas Club Software or comparable platforms like Clubessential or Northstar.
- Strong understanding of three-statement financial reporting.
- Proven experience building financial systems or reporting infrastructure from scratch.
- Ability to translate operational data into executive-level insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort presenting to senior leadership or board-level stakeholders.
- Ability to submit a 1 to 2-minute Loom video explaining a financial reporting system or model built.
Responsibilities
- Build and formalize a structured monthly reporting package including financial statements and Budget vs. Actual reports.
- Partner with department leaders to standardize reporting workflows and extract operational data.
- Develop scenario models for pricing, membership, and program decisions.
- Manage multi-year capital expenditure budgets and project-level cash flow tracking.
- Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Serve as the internal systems lead for Jonas Club Software and manage accounting modules.
- Automate manual reconciliation processes using reporting tools and Excel.
- Lead annual insurance renewals and analyze cost impacts.
