Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SEO with broad strategic expertise.
- 6+ years of experience managing and developing a team.
- 8+ years of experience in a client-facing digital marketing role.
- Proven analytical mindset to evaluate account and team data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and retention.
- Active listening and empathy-based leadership skills.
- Content marketing or professional writing experience preferred.
- Experience with both agency and in-house environments preferred.
- Experience with marketing channels like paid media, CRO, or email preferred.
- Prior remote work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the results of directly managed and team-led client accounts.
- Drive organic search impact using advanced SEO strategies including Video SEO, structured data, and content marketing.
- Set strategic direction and prioritization across the client portfolio.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a senior escalation point for issues.
- Manage, coach, and develop team members to improve strategic thinking and delivery.
- Support new business growth through sales pitches, audits, and account onboarding.
- Drive internal strategy, skills development, and innovation across the SEO team.
