Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and analyzing individual giving programs, balancing acquisition and retention.
  • Experience with detailed audience segmentation, data analysis, and managing complex donor journeys.
  • Comfortable using donor KPI metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing external fundraising agencies to execute marketing and development plans.
  • Experience launching and managing paid acquisition and lead generation campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Deep proficiency in donor retention, mid-level upgrade strategies, and individual donation management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the charity sector and global fundraising market trends.
  • Understanding of tax-smart giving vehicles, such as Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate robust donor acquisition initiatives through digital outreach and multi-channel direct response.
  • Lead 360-degree portfolio initiatives to maximize lifetime value and balance attrition reduction.
  • Design tailored donor journeys to support lead generation, conversion, and retention.
  • Develop upgrade and cross-sell strategies to increase donor lifetime value.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign implementation, including data selection and segmentation.
  • Monitor KPIs, produce reports, and adjust tactics to meet revenue and volume targets.
  • Collaborate on donor research initiatives like user testing, surveys, and focus groups.
