Requirements
- 8+ years in analytics, data science, or a quantitative decision-science role.
- Deep SQL expertise and warehouse fluency (Snowflake and dbt experience preferred).
- Strong statistical foundation including causal inference, experimentation, and regression.
- Exceptional ability to frame ambiguous problems and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of influencing decisions without formal authority.
- Experience navigating messy, imperfect data and reasoning about its reliability.
- Ability to form a point of view and defend it with evidence.
- Bonus: Experience in fintech, lending, mortgage, or real estate.
- Bonus: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics (LLMs, semantic layers, self-serve tooling).
Responsibilities
- Own the definition and integrity of core business metrics and drive alignment across stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end deep-dive analyses on high-stakes business questions.
- Design and interpret experiments and causal analyses to quantify tradeoffs and elasticities.
- Serve as an embedded analytical partner to senior product, marketing, and operations leaders.
- Translate business logic into documented metric definitions and the semantic layer.
- Set the analytical standard for the team through modeling rigorous work and mentorship.
