Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar).
- Fluent in Python (read, write, and debug without assistance).
- Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and executive audiences.
- Builder mentality and process-oriented approach, with a desire to optimize and automate repetitive tasks.
- High horsepower and ability to prioritize across multiple projects and context-switch efficiently.
- Humble attitude and eagerness to learn new domains.
- Based in the US.
- Familiarity with data engineering, governance, quality, or observability concepts is preferred.
- Experience at a B2B SaaS startup or with AI/data products is a plus.
- Data stack fluency (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Run demos and scope PoCs alongside Account Executives, from first technical call to closed-won.
- Translate customer problems into Soda solutions and articulate product capabilities to various stakeholders.
- Build custom demos, sample pipelines, and PoC environments demonstrating real value.
- Own technical and security responses on RFPs and RFIs.
- Support customers through evaluation, purchasing, and implementation phases.
- Serve as the technical voice in meetings with Data Engineers, Heads of Data Platform, and Chief Data Officers.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites, team offsites, and conferences.
