Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python (read, write, and debug).
- Experience running demos and supporting PoCs in customer environments.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both engineers and executive stakeholders.
- Builder mentality with experience in process optimization and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-growth environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be based in the US.
Responsibilities
- Run demos and scope PoCs alongside AEs from initial technical call through close.
- Translate complex customer technical requirements into Soda solutions.
- Build custom demos, sample pipelines, and PoC environments that demonstrate product value.
- Manage technical and security responses for RFPs and RFIs.
- Support customers throughout evaluation, purchasing, and implementation phases.
- Serve as the technical voice to stakeholders including Data Engineers, Heads of Data Platform, and Chief Data Officers.
- Provide product and engineering teams with actionable feedback based on field interactions.
