Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders through technical expertise, business understanding, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience explaining complex technical solutions to diverse audiences, including executives and business users.
- Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations and technical proof-of-concept processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud software, connected hardware, networking concepts, business systems integration, automation, and control systems.
- Experience integrating SaaS applications using REST APIs and related technologies such as XML, SOAP, or EDI.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or equivalent languages.
- Knowledge of electronic systems, vehicle diagnostics, Controller Area Networks (CAN bus), or similar technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, curiosity, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise sales teams to support new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities through technical expertise and solution guidance.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and technical presentations to showcase platform capabilities and business value.
- Translate customer challenges into tailored solutions while explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support strategic sales cycles by managing technical evaluations, addressing objections, and developing creative approaches to overcome sales obstacles.
- Respond to technical components of RFIs and RFPs while ensuring accurate and compelling solution positioning.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and support product improvements.
- Build integrations and solution designs using APIs, cloud technologies, connected hardware, and business systems.
