Requirements
- Experience in data analysis, business analysis, or analytics roles within complex or regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
- Solid SQL experience for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or Qlik (or comparable BI tools).
- Ability to explain data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with healthcare or federal data environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards or models such as HL7/FHIR or OMOP (preferred).
- Experience using Excel and/or Python (pandas) for deeper or ad hoc analysis (preferred).
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance considerations in regulated settings (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Partner with program managers and domain experts to gather and clarify business and functional data requirements.
- Document requirements, data definitions, and business rules for technical teams.
- Review existing data workflows to identify and address inefficiencies or manual workarounds.
- Analyze integrated datasets to provide insights for operational and leadership decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau or Qlik.
- Write and validate SQL queries for reporting and data verification.
- Perform business-perspective data validation to ensure results meet operational expectations.
