Requirements
- Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Entry-level knowledge of various data types, structures, and formats including SQL, XML, CSV, and JSON.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Preferred: Experience with SQL through coursework or projects.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Preferred: Exposure to databases, data modeling, or ETL concepts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data migration projects by supporting data preparation, validation, testing, and execution activities.
- Support data mapping and transformation by validating field mappings between legacy systems and Ontic.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Implementation, and Client Success teams to troubleshoot data issues.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data integrity.
- Use SQL and other data tools to query, analyze, and manipulate datasets.
- Document migration processes, testing results, and data findings.
- Prepare data reports and track migration progress for client activities.
