Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university.
  • Eight to ten years of business-related progressive experience or equivalent combination of training.
  • Exceptional performance selling into the US Defense Industry.
  • Deep knowledge of Army acquisition environments.
  • Demonstrated history of recruiting, hiring, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
  • Ability to develop sales territory plans aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Excellent forecasting and qualification skills.
  • Skilled at business planning and measuring progress.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and Netsuite).

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Army sales organization to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to execute market growth strategies and account priorities.
  • Oversee opportunity qualification, account planning, and capture strategy development.
  • Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence focused on pipeline health, forecasting, and deal reviews.
  • Collaborate with marketing, vendor relations, operations, contracts, and supply chain teams.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships and key industry partnerships.
