Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in patient service or healthcare.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
  • Experience coordinating with national labs (e.g., Quest, Labcorp) including requisition review and result tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail for documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising between clinical and administrative teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and patient-centered care.
  • Experience in an on-demand service or healthcare environment.
  • Zendesk experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Field and resolve overnight questions and support requests from patients and partners.
  • Respond to and triage inbound patient and partner inquiries via phone, email, and SMS.
  • Escalate complex patient concerns to appropriate clinical or administrative teams.
  • Assist Field Support and clinicians with real-time scheduling changes.
  • Perform clerical work required before and after appointments to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Contribute to process enhancements and participate in cross-departmental training projects.
