Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare billing support, or revenue cycle operations.
- Hands-on experience with insurance claims, billing follow-up, and benefit terminology.
- Experience in a queue-based or ticket-based omnichannel support role.
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex or escalated support issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience communicating with cross-functional partners, patients, vendors, and insurance companies.
- Proficiency with EHR and billing systems preferred.
- Experience with Zendesk or Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or EAP benefit structures preferred.
- Experience working in high-growth or start-up environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex billing concerns raised by patients.
- Collaborate with insurance providers, internal teams, and external partners to drive timely resolutions.
- Handle case volume through omnichannel support channels including phone, email, and chat.
- Strengthen organizational billing processes, resources, and internal guidance.
- Document and track billing issues to ensure accurate resolution.
