Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare billing support, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Hands-on experience with insurance claims, billing follow-up, and benefit terminology.
  • Experience in a queue-based or ticket-based omnichannel support role.
  • Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex or escalated support issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience communicating with cross-functional partners, patients, vendors, and insurance companies.
  • Proficiency with EHR and billing systems preferred.
  • Experience with Zendesk or Salesforce preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or EAP benefit structures preferred.
  • Experience working in high-growth or start-up environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve complex billing concerns raised by patients.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers, internal teams, and external partners to drive timely resolutions.
  • Handle case volume through omnichannel support channels including phone, email, and chat.
  • Strengthen organizational billing processes, resources, and internal guidance.
  • Document and track billing issues to ensure accurate resolution.
