Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience writing well-structured production code.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise across cluster architecture, workload types, networking, storage, RBAC, and resource management.
- Proficiency with Helm authoring and GitOps workflows using Flux or ArgoCD.
- Strong operator and CRD literacy, including controllers written in Go using Kubebuilder or Operator SDK.
- Solid grasp of observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana).
- Experience working directly with customers on debugging and technical communication.
- Track record of delivering production-grade systems and mentoring engineers.
- AI-first mindset with experience using AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Startup mentality with a self-directed, hands-on approach to ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Drive forward-deployed engagements end to end, from scoping customer technical goals and designing deployment approaches to production.
- Design and deliver changes to the platform and Kubernetes deployment processes.
- Act as the technical SME for enterprise adoption, providing hands-on support to customers and Design Partners.
- Own technical calls, moving quickly on decisions and collaborating with team anchors on risk management.
- Partner with senior peers to bring field insights back to planning and design reviews.
- Coach teammates on Kubernetes and contribute to engineering hiring.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows to strengthen reusable tooling and playbooks.
