Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience in backend, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
- At least 2 years in a customer-facing or deployment-oriented technical role.
- Strong systems programming proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems, job orchestration, or internal developer platforms.
- Fluency in AI-native development workflows using tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- Deep knowledge of the cloud-native toolchain including Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, observability, networking, and IaC.
- Familiarity with GPU-based workloads, HPC environments, batch jobs, and training pipelines.
- Ability to debug complex infrastructure issues across application, network, storage, and compute layers.
- Strong communication skills for high-level technical discussions with customer engineering leadership.
- High agency and ability to navigate technical ambiguity independently.
Responsibilities
- Own discovery, technical scoping, infrastructure design, build, and production rollout for each design partner and ISV engagement.
- Build and operate the cloud infrastructure that powers customer physical AI workflows, including compute orchestration for simulation, training, evaluation, and inference.
- Develop platform services for job execution, scheduling, observability, logging, and security, abstracting infrastructure complexity for customers.
- Optimize cloud cost, utilization, performance, and reliability across application, network, storage, and orchestration layers.
- Turn repeated customer infrastructure pain into reusable platform capabilities by partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to compress build timelines and drive engineering velocity.
