Engineering at Swarm Aero
Our engineering challenge is unprecedented: coordinating thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets in real time. We build the "Legion" Command & Control (C2) software, a platform allowing a single operator to plan and execute missions across vast drone swarms. This involves real-time distributed systems, high-throughput telemetry pipelines, and infrastructure for problem spaces with no existing playbook. You will work on architecting backends for C2 systems, designing robust real-time infrastructure, and handling dense vehicle telemetry and sensor data. Our frontend engineers craft intuitive interfaces for complex swarm management, leveraging technologies like React and WebGL. We deploy early and often, supported by strong CI/CD, QA, and DevSecOps. We address mission-critical needs with cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and robust networking solutions (IPv6, UDP/TCP).
