About Stacklok
Stacklok empowers developers to securely build with open source, transforming how enterprises adopt AI. You will solve critical software supply chain security challenges, protecting AI agents and applications. Our platform makes open source accessible and secure for modern development teams. We build the control plane for enterprise AI, integrating with existing infrastructure to secure your data. Leading technology companies and regulated industries already adopt our platform. We secured $17.5 million in Series A funding, driving our rapid growth.
How We Work
You will join a highly motivated, collaborative team. We value strong roots in open source, cloud-native technologies, security, and developer tools. Our CEO views culture as the operating system for success. We promote an AI-first mindset and encourage using AI coding assistants. Our work environment is flexible: hybrid or remote, depending on your role. Team offsites in unique destinations foster collaboration and personal connection. We believe great technology is built by teams that support and inspire each other.
Engineering at Stacklok
You will dive deep into complex Kubernetes deployments and large enterprise environments. We build the foundation for secure AI adoption, addressing crucial operational constraints. Our team designs and implements changes to deploy the platform seamlessly on Kubernetes. This involves writing controllers in Go, authoring Helm charts, and implementing GitOps with Flux or ArgoCD. You will tackle challenges in cluster architecture, networking, storage, RBAC, and permission models. Observability is key; you will instrument, troubleshoot, and debug production systems using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana. You will also work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI agent tooling, shaping how AI reaches production across demanding organizations. We actively contribute to the open-source community, maintaining the official MCP registry and donating projects like Minder to OpenSSF. Your field experience directly influences our product and engineering decisions.
