Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in Go.
- Have a proven track record designing and shipping complete production-grade distributed systems as part of a commercial software product.
- Have hands-on experience deploying and running applications on Kubernetes in production.
- Have experience mentoring engineers, driving code review, and raising the quality of a team's work.
- Have experience working directly with customers to onboard them and debug products in their environments.
- Have experience driving customer-reported issues and fixes back into the codebase.
- Have experience integrating AI tools into development practices and making AI-assisted workflows repeatable.
- Be able to explain complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bring a self-directed, hands-on approach and the ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Stacklok Enterprise platform subsystems from technical design through production and ongoing improvement.
- Write production Go code for commercial software running in customer Kubernetes environments, with observability, testing, and error handling.
- Make design tradeoffs for owned platform areas with product and engineering leadership.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to code review and team quality.
- Work with customers to operationalize the Enterprise Platform and turn their feedback into product improvements.
- Contribute to the open-source ToolHive codebase and collaborate with community contributors.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows and strengthen reusable tooling and playbooks.
